One of the standout highlights for our guests has been exploring the nearby Coonawarra wine region. Known for its world-class wineries, it’s become a favourite day trip for visitors looking to enjoy premium wine tasting while staying in the region.

Back on the farm, guests have embraced the opportunity to experience daily life at Warrawindi — from meeting the animals to enjoying the peaceful surroundings, open space, and slower pace that makes a farm stay so unique. 

There’s something special about this time of year at Warrawindi Escapes. The farm is full of life, fresh energy, and plenty of exciting moments that our guests get to experience firsthand. 

We’ve been busy with calving season, welcoming a number of new arrivals to the farm. One of the favourites already is our new poddy calf, CC, who has quickly become a much-loved member of the Warrawindi family. Guests staying with us have had the chance to meet CC up close, making for a truly memorable farm stay experience. 

As calving continues, we’re also preparing for lambing season, which is set to begin later this month. It’s one of the most rewarding times on the farm, and a beautiful experience for visitors wanting to slow down and connect with authentic country life in South Australia’s Limestone Coast.

A Milestone Year for Warrawindi Escapes 

This season also marks an exciting milestone — our first birthday since opening. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed guests from all around the world, including travellers from the UK, Singapore, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and across Australia. 

We’ve been especially fortunate to host many people travelling between Melbourne and Adelaide, with Warrawindi Escapes perfectly positioned as a relaxing stop along the journey. Being located near Robe and within reach of the Great Ocean Road makes it an ideal place to unwind, recharge, and experience something different from a standard overnight stay.
